Not my Weekend, equipment failure all around me
Sorry for the late update, but this was not my weekend. Equipment failed all around me, Server, Laptop, Airplane.
Yes, you heard it correctly, I had some technical challanges the last few days.
- On my flight home on Friday, the airplane broke. They did not make any specific announcements, but the Pilot told me afterwards. When the co-pilot looked outside, he noticed a small oil puddle underneath the airplan. It turned out that there was a small leak of the hydraulic hose. That plane is not going anywhere for two reasons: a) leaking oil is a fire hazzard b) if the hose burst in-flight, there is no hydraulic anywhere in the airplane. It all ended up in a 5 hours delay
- My home server died completely and was not available on-line for the last few days. I bought some new spare parts yesterday and now the server is up again.
- Today my laptop died. It did not show anything on display, lamps whatsoever. Hopefully I get a new one on Tuesday. I need it for work
Later today we will go for sparing in Tae Kwon Do. I already feel bad for my opponent, I might be a bit more aggressive today.
