Family members can create their accounts, login , upload pictures, discuss topics. As an example, if you want to create your own news item, take a look on how it is done:

How to add a news item

You must be logged in before you can add news items.

1. You should add news items in your own folder. Click on the "my folder" link in the navigation bar.

   

2. You should see something that looks like the next picture. By clicking on the "add new item" link in the editing tab area you'll see the drop down menu that's shown here.

   

   Select news item and you will be presented with a form to fill out.

3. Fill out the form.
   • Short Name - you may or may not get a place to enter a "short name". If you do, pick something short... E.g. for a headline like "Hillary got her yellow belt"
   • Headline - Keep it kind of short
   • Lead-in - This text will pop up when people put the mouse over the news item in the news box.
   • Body Text - Put the full announcement here.

   Note: You have a choice of Structured Text, HTML, or Plain Text. As shown in this picture, choose one. If you just have text with blank lines to denote paragraphs, then use Plain Text.

   

   When you're done, click "save"

4. Now that you've saved your news item, you'll see this. Notice that in the editing tab bar it says "state: visible". That means that people can find this item, but it's not advertised anywhere. It will not appear in any navigation listings. The next thing you need to do is submit it for review. 5. And finally, publish it.
