Helio Castroneves wins IRL at Texas Motor Speedway, Sam Hornish Jr. finishes 4th after running out of fuel
We watched live the race at Texas Motorspeeday. It was loud and fast as usual, what was unusual though that there were now crashes at all.
Angie and had a great time at the Texas Motor Speedway. We watched an exciting race, with average lap speeds of 214 mph (342 km/h). The race had an interesting ending at the end, when the leader Dan Whealdon had issues with a wheel nut, and Sam Hornish Jr. (my favorite), stalled the car in the pitroad because he ran out of fue lwith ust 9 laps to go to the finish.
It is still a great experience to watch the race. It always reminds my of driving my indy car back in 2004 but much slower though.
