Gustav Mahler Symphony Nr. 2 at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra
Andrew Litton conducted Gustav Mahler's Symphony #2 at his farewell to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra
On Friday May 12th we attended to the concert of the Dallas Symphony orchestra where Andrew Litton conducted Gustav Mahler's Symphony Nr. 2. Litton is leaving Dallas after 12 years, so this was his farewell concert. The performance was incredible, I liked the different tempi he used and how he "teased" the audience with a few little pauses. His performance reminded me at Sir Georg Solti a bit. We were sitting in the third row, so we had a spectacular view of Andrew Litton and the Orchestra.
