Cold in Texas - and a bird in our house
Angie got scared when a bird flew into our house. Excitement for our cats.
After a few days with cold weather in freezing temperature, noone wanted to go outside anymore. In fact it seems we invited some guests into our house!. When Angie opened the front door to remove the christmas ornament, a little read bird took a change and flew into the house. She screamed, because she thought it was a bat or something scarier. But it looked like a robin, a cute little fellow. We chased the bird for a while to lead it outside again, but it did not cooperate. Sometimes it flew upstairs, sometimes hid in the christmas tree.
That got the attention of our cats, Princess and Hershey. They both acompanied me during the chase, I had in fact to look out for not tripping over them. Hershey made lots of noise as kitties usually do and licked her whiskers. Does she know how a bird tastes?
Well finally we locked the cats into my office, boy were they dissappointed. And then I was able to catch the bird with a towel. I freed the little critter outside again. The only damage that occured was a christmas ornament broke from falling of the tree. Princess and Hershey were roaming the house for hours to see if anything was left.
